Cook - Palatine Nursing Home

Palatine Nursing Home is currently seeking a Cook to become a part of our growing team. Our small 70 bed long/short term care facility is conveiently located just minutes from the NYS Thruway, Exit 29, Canajoharie. Come be part of a team, "Where it feels like home and you're treated like family!"

Requirements include but are not limited to:

• Previous dining room/nursing home experience required
• Previous food service experience required
• Customer service skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced enviorment
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
• Previous cooking experience is required
• Line cooking or restuarant cooking experience
• Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, bend, kneel, lift throughout the day
• Must be a team player with a can do positive attitude
• Must be flexible to work holidays, weekends, off shifts are required
