About the Job
This individual will be primarily responsible for the preparation of food and the clean up afterwards
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: + Ability to properly prepare, serve and store food
+ An understanding of the sanitation procedures needed to provide a safe and healthy environment
+ Ability to handle and prepare foods in accordance to the regulatory agencies
+ Work under supervision on menu compliance and special diet compliance, and by direct observation of patient compliance
+ Report any dietary non-compliance, concern or complaint of patients to supervisor
+ Prepare foods according to standardized recipes, preparation, service methods, and food handling techniques to ensure quality
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: + High school diploma or equivalent required
+ Kitchen/Cooking/Cleaning commercial experience preferred
+ Must work effectively in a team
+ Must work flexible hours (to include weekends and holidays)
