Assisited Living Cook - Promenade at Blue Hill

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            Promenade at Blue Hill, a Senior Assisted Living Residence in Pearl River, NY is looking for a Line Cook to join our team. Immediate opening. 5 days a week including Saturday and Sunday with Wenesday and Thursday off.  Experience with Grill work, food prep, and making soups, salads, and sandwiches. Good cleaning and kitchen closing skills required. Starting salary relative to previous experience with a 90 day probation period. Summary: The Cook prepares and cooks meals for residents and maintains standards of kitchen cleanliness under the direction of the Food Service Director.

Qualifications: •Six (6) months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred but will train the right motivated candidate.

Language skills:

•Ability to effectively communicate in English and understand and follow written and oral instructions

•Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to residents, residents’ families and other employees of the company

Ability to be calm under pressure and be customer service oriented. Enjoy working closely with our seniors to ensure satisfaction.
