Line Cook Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00
Line Cook Job Responsibilities:
- Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies.
- Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces.
- Cook food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
- Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift.
- Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs.
- Email is required to interact with Hotschedules.
Work Hours & Benefits
Full time is offered all year long and employees receive 1 weeks paid vacation after 1 year of employment.
25% store discounts are offered to our employees at any of our Grill's locations.
Insurance benefits are offered to full time employees. (Waiting Period Applies)
Shifts begin at 7am for breakfast, 10am for lunch, and 4pm for dinner respectively.
Line Cook Qualifications/Skills:
- Basic written and verbal communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Accuracy and speed in executing tasks
- Ability to work as a team member
- Follows directions and instructions
Education and Experience Requirements
- One to two years of experience as a line cook, restaurant cook, or prep cook (preferred)
- Experience with various cooking methods and procedures (required)
- Familiar with industry best practices (required)
- Reliable transportation (required)
