Cook - St. Andrews Retirement Community

Under the direct supervision of the Dietary Manager, the Cook will complete/assist with the following: 

• Planning, preparing, and cooking meals to meet customer expectations.
• Maintaining a high quality of service while often preparing numerous meals in short periods.
• Ensuring sanitary food handling and storage.
• Collaborating with the kitchen team for efficient operation.
• Following food safety regulations and practices.
• Preparing and assembling ingredients for menu items.
• Cooking menu items using various kitchen gadgets and cooking methods.
• Ensuring that food portions and food presentation meet company standard.
