Overview:We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our kitchen team for the upcoming season. This will be a seasonal Cook role starting in Mid- November and ending in Mid -January. The ideal candidates will have experience in garde manger prep and general kitchen work. Previous experience in a hotel kitchen is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present cold foods, including salads, charcuterie, and hors d’oeuvres.
- Assist with general kitchen duties such as food prep, cleaning, and maintaining kitchen equipment.
- Ensure all food items are stored at the correct temperatures and maintain cleanliness in cold storage areas.
- Follow recipes and presentation standards to deliver high-quality dishes.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a hotel.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Excellent knife skills and knowledge of food safety standards.
Compensation Range:The compensation for this position is $13.50/Hr. - $18.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
