Cook/Supervisor Nutritional Services, Springville, NY
Full Time Temporary. Day Flex Shift. 7.5 hour shifts within 6:00am – 7:00pm
Pay is adjusted per experience $19.50 - 20.39 per hour.
As key member of our team you will:
- Ensure all resident and patient meals are prepared to acceptable quality under safe add sanitary conditions.
- Plan cooking schedule, and prepare all food products for three daily meals including entrees, side dishes, garnishments, baked goods and desserts; for special functions, for meals-on-wheels and for cafeteria service
- Monitor equipment, cooking schedule, temperatures, coolers, food rotations.
- Troubleshoot production concerns daily
- Train associates; plan and direct work assignments, monitor staff production
- Lead and assist in the assembly and transport of meal trays for patients and residents
Requires:
- HS diploma or GED
- Three (3) years of institutional cooking experience
- Leadership experience preferred
- Training experience preferred
- Fingerprint background check required prior to hire.
