Job Description:
The Adjustment Coordinator posts contractual and administrative adjustments not generated by Patient Accounting and/or bolt-on Cash Management systems. Processes all non-cash related correspondence.
Required Skills:
- Ten-key by touch required.
- Knowledgeable of Patient Management and Patient Accounting systems.
- Excellent customer service to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- Analytical ability to comprehend, interpret and explain contract terms.
- Excellent Financial analytical skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Detail oriented ability to set and meet deadlines, and support multiple projects.
- Solid decision making skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Knowledge of computers and accounting systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
Required Experience:
Work Experience:
One year of experience with cash transactions, auditing records for discrepancies, reconciliation activities or any financial services related experience. Experience with hospital accounts receivable practices preferred.
License/Registration/Certification:
None.
Education and Training:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
