Position Summary:
Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Coordinator, Campus Life. - Jupiter, FL.
Summary of responsibilities:
+ Develop and implement university programs and traditions to foster a strong sense of belonging.
+ Coordinate community service programs and opportunities for students to engage in volunteer work and make a positive impact in the local community. This could involve organizing service projects, promoting civic engagement initiatives, and fostering a culture of social responsibility.
+ Work with appropriate Student Affairs departments to plan and coordinate student leadership opportunities for Peer Mentors, Elite Owls, Certified Student Leaders, Student Government, and other student organizations.
+ Work with appropriate Student Affairs departments to plan and coordinate student leadership opportunities for Peer Mentors, Elite Owls, Certified Student Leaders, Student Government, and other student organizations.
+ Advise and support assigned Student Government entities such as SAVI, Jupiter Multicultural Programming Board, and Jupiter Campus Multicultural/Spiritual Registered Organizations.
+ Provides advisement and support to student councils such as the Jupiter Campus Student Council.
+ Responsible for developing assessment tools, collecting data, and assessing program effectiveness.
+ Assists in the development of campus-based and university-wide reports.
+ Responsible for staying abreast of university policies and regulations.
+ Assists university administrators and inter-institutional groups in resolving specific Student Affairs issues and disseminating information regarding SUS/University rules, policies, and contracts.
+ Assists administration in developing and responding to student groups in crisis.
+ Assist with Student Orientation, Academics and Resources (SOAR), Honors College Admission events, OWL Leader/Peer Mentor recruitment, selection, and training.
+ Supports university-wide initiatives such as Orientation, Extended Orientation, Red & Blue Weeks, Parent Family Welcome, Homecoming, and Convocation.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
A master's degree from an accredited in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience required.
Salary:
$20 - $22 per hour.
