About the Job
In addition to all duties in Program Coordinator I and II, Program Coordinator III will coordinate multiple projects and/or initiatives including activities supporting coalition development, community health education and achievement of program goals. The PCIII also coordinates, supports & supervises activities of program or project.
DUTIES
* Working to help BPHC become an antiracist organization by meeting or exceeding the standards set by the BPHC Anti-Racism Policy.
* Assisting with the coordination of work projects including, but not limited to development and oversight of RFPs, development of grant applications and development and coordination of provider trainings.
* Monitoring specific contracts and program activities.
* Providing technical and monitoring assistance to assure funded programs have the skills needed to attain contracted goals & objectives.
* Reviewing and summarizing quarterly & annual reporting of program activities, as well as monthly agency data submission.
* Maintaining consistent contact with other public administrators, community providers and other parties as needed.
* Working collaboratively with program & fiscal staff to ensure system accountability.
* Developing procedures for continuous monitoring activities including program site visits.
* Potentially supervising employees including but not limited to lower-level coordinators within job series.
* Training, evaluating, and recommending discipline for staff.
* Reviewing the work of subordinates for completeness, accuracy, and content.
* Performing of other duties as assigned.

Master's Degree in Public Health, Health Policy Administration, or a related discipline, such as sociology, organizational psychology, public health nursing, or health communications required; OR BA/BS plus 5 years of equivalent experience in public health program coordination, management and/or community organizing.

Experience with contract monitoring, and program evaluation required.
*
Experience designing and implementing public health or health related programs and initiatives.
*
Knowledge and experience in coalition building, community organizing, health education & health promotion strategies.
*
Demonstrated experience coordinating and implementing complex projects in the area of position.
*
Ability to write clear, concise reports, & to follow & give written and oral instructions in a precise, understandable manner.
*
Demonstrated experience collaborating with providers serving a variety of populations, including members of the LGBTQ community, communities of color, persons with substance use disorder, women and youth.
*
Experience planning community meetings and events.
*
Excellent organizational and oral and written communication skills.
*
Advanced knowledge & experience with MSOffice and Knowledge of data analysis and epidemiology.
*
Advanced experience with and knowledge of local community agencies.
*
Passionate commitment to health equity and racial/social justice issues.
*
Knowledge of or willingness to learn about the role of public health in addressing. racism, the social determinants of health, and inequities in health outcomes as well as strategies to advance racial justice and health equity.
