Southeast Missouri State University, a NCAA Division I institution and 2021 & 2023 Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner’s Cup Champions, is seeking applications for Coordinator of Athletics Marketing & Engagement.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the marketing and fan engagement strategies for all sports, including all advertising, promotions, and messaging, to drive ticket sales and increase attendance at athletic events
- Manage SEMO Athletics’ communications and marketing channels, including but not limited to email marketing, social media, traditional media advertising (print, radio, television, outdoor), and digital advertising
- Manage the in-game fan experience for all sports, including but not limited to gameday promotions, script creation, game presentation, and videoboard operation
- Create and execute plans to increase engagement with target constituent groups, including but not limited to students, kids club, alumni, and the southeast Missouri community
- Assist with corporate sponsorship activation, prospecting, and solicitation
- Recruit, train, manage, and lead the Graduate Assistant for Marketing and Fan Engagement and a team of student interns
