Job Description
The Materials Management Coordinator (Supply Chain Coordinator) reports to the Site Supply
Chain Manager. Under limited supervision, the Materials Management Coordinator supervises
the staff, the inventory management and distribution function for the Medical Center. When
there are no direct reports, the coordinator functions independently as the Supply Chain
representative for their assigned area including, but not limited to, Stocking, ordering, product
disruption mitigation and receiving.
The Supply Chain Coordinator will be responsible for completing daily work assignments,
manage PTO and holiday schedules as well as produce the Supply Tech’s routine schedule. In
conjunction with the site supply chain manager, the coordinator will hold their staff accountable
for meeting guidelines and expectations set forth by MUHA policy. This includes, but is not
limited to, attendance and behavioral expectations.
Additional Job Description
Education – High School diploma (or equivalent) required. Associate’s degree from an accredited
college/university in business administration, or related field, preferred.
Experience - Minimum of 2-4 years of appropriate experience is required. Experience appropriateness to be
determined by hiring manager.
General - Candidate must demonstrate excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Computer/internet skills to include use of MS Office products, but especially Excel and PowerPoint, is
required. Ability to understand and report on general business financial concepts is required. Strong
interpersonal; client relations; fact finding; analytical; project management; presentation; and
communication (written/verbal) skills are needed. Under minimal supervision will respond to project demands
within deadlines. Professionalism, poise/grace under pressure a must. Individual will portray high energy,
positive attitude and team orientation in all interactions.
