Copywriter - Planet Interactive

Location: Culver City, CA
Schedule: 5 months, Hybrid (Tue-Thur) onsite
Pay: Up to $77.45/hour DOE

Planet Interactive is looking for a Senior Copywriter to join our well known Fortune 500 client on a 5-month contract. This role will work 40 hours per week and requires a hybrid work schedule out of the Culver City office Tuesday-Thursday.  

Senior Copywriter Responsibilities: 

• Develop customer-facing messaging like direct-marketing emails, push notifications, synopses, and special event materials.
• Write new copy, refine existing copy, and edit copy that will support original programming for TV and movies.
• Deliver copy that follows the distinct voice, tone, and brand standards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with a wide variety of teams including marketing, product, and design.
• Ensure that the copy tells the story that is asked of in the brief.
• Drive forward the editorial strategy with the copy that is created.
• Manage projects and deadlines that are assigned.
• Ensure that project updates are being communicated and things stay on track.
• See copy projects through rounds of review and approvals.

Senior Copywriter Qualifications:

• 8+ years experience of work experience.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Significant experience as a writer and editor within the TV, movies, or pop culture space.
• Portfolio showcasing a range of work.
