Core Cutter - 2nd Shift - $18.50 at Manpower

Our client, the world's largest prime label company, is seeking a Core Cutter to join their team. The ideal candidate will be able to multi-task, good with measurements, great attention to detail, good attendance and a desire to grow which will align successfully in the organization.
 
Job Title: Core Cutter
Location: York, PA
Pay Range:  $17.50 (Plus a $1.00 premium)
Shift:  2nd shift (3pm-11pm) 
Train: 1st shift (7am-3pm)


What’s the Job?

• Read job ticket carefully before cutting the required cores needed for the job
• Set specifications on the machine (measurement accuracy and attention to detail required)
• Adjust/Attach slitting blades to the machine
• Responsible for cleanliness of machinery
• Light maintenance of machinery
• Able to walk 2-3 miles a day
• Inspect, remove and/or replace all defects, properly re-splice the roll, stamp each role

• High school education or equivalent
• Previous machine experience helpful
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to read a ruler and understand measurements
• Ability to input data in the compute
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
