Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain and test software applications for Advised Affluent Offering & also supports business units or supporting functions for Benefits online
- Participates in the design, development and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies, software, hardware and tools
- Assist with offshore coordination with offshore teams and collaborate with other programmers and business partners to ensure successful delivery and implementation of the software application
- Work with minimal supervision and guidance from more seasoned consultants, and may also be expected to provide application support
- Collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software application
- Routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities
Requirements:
- 8 -10 years of experience
- Java APIs and web development Spring boot
- Experience in Core Java, developing J2EE Applications involving JSP and Servlets
- Experience with IDE like Eclipse or NetBeans or IntelliJ
- App Server experience in deploying J2EE applications using WebSphere or Tomcat or Apache
- Experience on WebApi
- Knowledge on Handlebar/ AngularJS/ React, JavaScript, jQuery, client-side technologies
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience of automated unit testing tools
Desired skills:
- Ability to work in a Lean-Agile environment
- Knowledge of Groovy Framework
- Knowledge of Oracle and T-SQL
- Experience in financial domain
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and demonstrates a willingness to accept additional responsibilities and projects
