About the Job
DCS is looking for an experienced Simulation Computer Engineer to manage the team supporting the Army’s Ground Vehicle Systems Center Immersive Simulation Directorate. You will manage a team of software engineers who work directly with government engineers to design, develop, integrate, test, and deploy simulation software based on the Unreal Engine.
Essential Job Functions:
Interface directly with project managers, government stakeholders, vendors, and developmental organizations to identify software system requirements, software design and implementations for simulations of Army ground vehicles.
Provide inputs to plans of execution to include scope, needs, and schedule.
Design, develop, integrate, and test simulation software.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. citizenship is required.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering plus 6+ years of experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance.
Strong C/C++ Knowledge and experience operating within Linux and Windows and various software development environments.
Experience in the development and deployment of simulation software
Experience with Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOA/D) methodologies
Excellent technical, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
