About the Job
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Vice President to lead and oversee Corporate Action and Tax Processing within our custody services. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy and timeliness of securities settlements, manage tax-related events, and maintain compliance with regulations, while upholding our risk governance framework.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and monitor corporate actions (dividends, stock splits, mergers, etc.), ensuring timely updates to client accounts.
Manage tax processing, including tax withholding, reclaims, and reporting, while ensuring compliance with global tax regulations.
Supervise equity settlements through DTC, ensuring all transactions are settled accurately and discrepancies are resolved.
Act as the first line of defense for risk management and compliance, preparing risk assessments and handling settlement issues.
Provide exceptional client support, managing inquiries and resolving any issues related to corporate actions and settlements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
5+ years of experience in corporate actions and tax processing, with strong knowledge of equity settlements.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Experience in the custody or financial services industry is preferred.

Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year
