Summary
We are looking for an experienced In-House Legal Counsel to support our legal needs, with a strong focus on commercial contract review and negotiation. This role will be pivotal in ensuring that our contractual engagements are legally sound, risk-mitigated, and aligned with our business objectives. The ideal candidate will also provide support for various general legal matters that arise within our engineering, service, and OEM operations.

What you’ll do
Commercial Contract Management:
- Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including supply agreements, procurement contracts, sales agreements, and service contracts.
- Ensure contracts are compliant with applicable laws / regulations and align with company policies and objectives.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with contractual obligations and business arrangements.
Legal Advisory:
- Provide legal advice and support to various departments within the company, including engineering, operations, finance, human resources, and sales.
- Assist in resolving legal disputes and managing litigation or arbitration processes when necessary.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations, advising the company on compliance issues and necessary adjustments.
- Implement and maintain effective compliance programs and internal controls.
General Legal Support:
- Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and
- procedures.
- Support corporate governance, including drafting and reviewing corporate
- documents, and assisting with corporate filings.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with external legal advisors and consultants as needed.
- Engage with internal stakeholders to ensure legal considerations are integrated
- into business processes and decision-making.
What you’ll need
- Bachelor’s degree in law.
- Licensed to practice law from the State Bar Association
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a corporate lawyer.
- Proven experience as a commercial lawyer, preferably in the OEM and manufacturing
- service industries
- Strong understanding of corporate law, contracts, intellectual property, and corporate
- regulations / compliance
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to navigate complex legal issues and work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic
- environment
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality of work.
