Corporate Attorney - Integrated Talent Strategies

ITS is working with a well-established, high-caliber law firm that specializes in securities, financial services, and business law. Situated in architecturally stunning, ocean-view offices, the firm is nationally recognized for its excellence in financial services law, securities transactions, litigation, and arbitration. They offer a high-quality, low-volume practice environment and handle complex matters throughout the U.S.

Role: The firm is seeking a seasoned attorney with expertise in transactional, SEC, Client, and regulatory compliance matters to join their team on a partnership track. This position involves serving a diverse and expanding clientele, including broker-dealers, investment advisory firms, registered representatives, hedge funds, and private equity funds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing legal counsel on matters related to the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, Securities Act of 1933, Investment Company Act of 1940, and other financial services regulations.
• Advising clients on SEC and Client compliance, fund-related issues, and regulatory matters.
• Managing complex transactions, litigations, and arbitrations with a high level of expertise.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in SEC, Client, and regulatory compliance matters.
• Strong background in the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, Securities Act of 1933, and Investment Company Act of 1940.
• Client experience is a plus.
• Ability to manage a high volume of sophisticated legal matters and provide top-notch client service.
• An existing portable book of business is advantageous, but not required.
