Corporate Coach and Trainer of Diesel Technicians - Prestige Fleet Services

• Liaise with managers to determine training needs and critique training sessions
• Responsible for managing high volume training groups
•  Create, design and develop effective training programs which includes continuous training.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) as it pertains to training.
• Conducts weekly training classes in group training sessions.
• Prepare educational material such as modules, PowerPoint presentations summaries, videos
• Supports and mentors’ new employees through continuous training
• Maintains training records, progress reports and other data
• Develops a process to measure performance of technicians and documents and promotes successes in training program
• Monitor employee performance and response to training
• Responsible for contribution to retention in successfully training and retaining technicians.
• Conducts evaluations to identify areas of opportunity for improvement
• Self-starter and reports to HR Manager

• Strong mechanical and technical diesel skills and knowledge required.
• Possess thorough safety knowledge
• Understanding of effective teaching methodologies
• Ability to coach and mentor technicians
• Willingness to keep abreast of new techniques in corporate teaching
• Proficient in MS Office (esp. Powerpoint) and other learning software.
• Excellent communication, presentation and public speaking skills
• Organizational and time management abilities
• Critical thinking and decision making
• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience
• Experience as corporate trainer preferred
• Experience with FullBay software preferred
