Responsibilities and Duties
The Corporate Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring that the Compliance Program accomplishes its objectives. Specifically, this position has the function of directing the Compliance Department in regulatory compliance; maintaining the effectiveness of the Corporate Compliance Program; and acting as a consultative resource for regulatory issues. The Corporate Compliance Officer will also oversee the provider credentialing function and serve as the Privacy Officer.

Advising and directing employees in regulatory compliance

Functioning as a key company representative/liaison in meetings with outside federal and state agencies for purposes other than standard federal and state auditors

Providing education and training about actual, proposed, or pending legislation and regulations that affect operations and identify operational obstacles to compliance, and working with other departments to identify and implement solutions

Serving as a consultative resource reimbursement and regulatory issues

Maintaining the effectiveness of the Corporate Compliance Program

Serving as the organizations Privacy Officer

Oversees the Credentialing Process for the Onix Group and it’s Healthcare Affiliates
Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare or Human Services is required

Registered Nurse license in DE is preferred

Ability to travel 2-3 days/week

Healthcare or Long Term Care experience strongly preferred

Atleast 10 years of experience in a healthcare organization, to include demonstrated leadership

Must be familiar with operational, financial, quality assurance, and human resources procedures and regulations

Certification in Certified Healthcare Compliance (CHC), Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC), and/or Certified in Healthcare Research Compliance (CHRC)
