As a Permanent Corporate Controls Engineer, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, playing a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of control systems. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our control systems and providing technical support to our operations team. This exciting opportunity will offer you the chance to work with state-of-the-art technology, and make a significant contribution to our company's success.
Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop control systems, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and safety.
2. Provide technical support to our operations team, troubleshooting any issues and ensuring the smooth operation of our control systems.
3. Collaborate with other team members to develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
4. Conduct regular maintenance and testing of our control systems, identifying any potential issues and implementing preventative measures.
5. Develop and implement training programs for our operations team, ensuring they are fully trained in the operation of our control systems.
6. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements, ensuring our control systems remain at the forefront of technology.
7. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, maintaining meticulous records and documentation.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Controls Engineer or in a similar role.
3. Proven experience with SQL, Power BI, SSRS, Aveva, and Wonderware, HMI Development, Allen Bradley PLC programming.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
5. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
6. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
7. A keen eye for detail, with the ability to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
8. A commitment to continuous learning and development, with the desire to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements.
9. A team player, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other team members.
10. A strong understanding of control systems, with the ability to design and develop systems that meet our specific needs.
