POSITION SUMMARY:
The position of Corporate Financial Analyst is responsible for the preparation of various financial reports and special analysis. Analyzes reports on historical and future trends to determine appropriate paths for financial and operational development.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:
The Corporate Financial Analyst reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Accounting. This role involves teamwork with the Corporate Accounting group as well as interaction with the executives of the B. F. Saul Company and its affiliates.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Corporate Financial Analyst duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Preparation of the private companies' multi-year business plan forecasts.
- Preparation of the quarterly finance committee book.
- Preparation of the monthly, quarterly and semi-annual return on investment reports.
- Preparation of various cash position reports.
- Preparation of various compensation and benefits reports.
- Preparation of various ad hoc reports related to all aspects of the companies.
- Provide support for the cash management function.
- Provide support for process enhancements of financial systems projects.
JOB REQUIREMENTS (SKILLS/ABILITIES) of Corporate Financial Analyst:

SELECTION CRITERIA of Corporate Financial Analyst: Experience / Education
- 2 – 4 years' experience in a corporate real estate environment.
- Experience with financial modeling and budgeting working in a corporate real estate environment.
- Knowledge of real estate accounting concepts.
- A solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office and an ability to work in a highly computerized environment. Advanced skills in Excel spreadsheet development and accounting software are required. Knowledge of Crystal report writing, preferably Business Objects.
- A bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
The anticipated base salary for this position is $55,000 - $95,000 annually. The actual base pay offered is determined by several variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, years of relevant experience, distinctive skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held. Base pay is one component of B. F. Saul Company & Affiliates total compensation package, which also includes access to or eligibility for healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, bonus plans and more.
