assist our CFO, drive financial insights, and play a crucial role in our
success. What's the Role? As the Corporate Financial Analyst, you'll
be the essential link between financial data, technology, and business
strategies. From preparing reports to supporting acquisitions and
budgeting, this role offers the opportunity to tackle high-impact
projects, engage with leaders across departments, and grow your career
within a collaborative and forward-thinking company. What You'll Do:
Create Financial Reports: Set up and maintain income statements, balance
sheets, and cash flow statements in QuipWare. Track Performance Metrics:
Provide quarterly summaries of profitability by region and department.
Support Month-End Close: Prepare reclassification journal entries and
update borrowing base certificates. Audit & Compliance: Review credit
card expenses, verify costs, and ensure adherence to financial controls.
Manage Acquisitions: Analyze assets, oversee customer retention
strategies, and evaluate purchase agreements. Contract & Inventory
Oversight: Handle TM&R contracts, rental fleet reconciliation, and
freight margin analysis. Lead Budgeting Initiatives: Collaborate with
the Accounting Manager to develop detailed budgets for Wolter, Inc. and
Wolter Investments. Multi-State Tax Management: File and manage sales
and personal property tax returns across multiple states. Engage in
Financial Reviews: Conduct quarterly financial statement reviews with
regional managers and provide insights to branch leaders. Special
Projects: Collaborate with the CFO on innovative finance initiatives and
business strategies. What We're Looking For: Education: Bachelor's
degree in accounting, finance, or related field. Leadership: Ability to
inspire collaboration and deliver results across departments. Analytical
Mindset: Exceptional planning and problem-solving skills. Communication
Skills: Present complex financial data in clear, actionable ways.
Tech-Savvy: Strong computer proficiency; experience with QuipWare is a
plus. Bonus Points (Not Required, but Nice to Have): CPA certification
3-5 years of relevant experience with increasing financial
