About the Job
As a key member of the Corporate team, you will be responsible for providing expert legal counsel and acting as the primary point of contact for all matters related to healthcare regulations, specifically focusing on the Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, Corporate practice doctrines, and related laws and regulations. This role is vital in supporting and shaping the success of our growing national dental and veterinary practices. Responsibilities:
Drive strategy and risk mitigation for a wide range of regulatory and compliance legal issues.
Work closely with various cross-functional departments to ensure effective risk management and compliance.
Monitor and ensure ongoing compliance with healthcare, dental, and veterinary regulations; possess the ability to interpret and communicate complex legal requirements.
Train, educate, and provide strategic guidance to the client’s business teams and leaders on legal issues relating to healthcare regulatory compliance.
Offer strategic guidance to client business teams and leaders on navigating complex legal issues related to healthcare regulations.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience as an attorney, with a focus on healthcare regulations and compliance.
Must be admitted to the NJ Bar; NY Bar admission is a plus
Strong familiarity with healthcare laws and regulations, particularly related to the Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, Medicare policy, and corporate practice doctrines.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
Demonstrated commercial and business acumen with a track record of delivering creative and pragmatic solutions and advice.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills.
Intrinsically motivated, a self-starter, entrepreneurial mindset, and a proactive and self-directed approach to problem-solving.
