Direct Counsel is seeking talented attorneys with 3+ years of experience in mergers and acquisitions to join a leading law firm in Nashville, TN or Dallas, TX
Qualified candidates will be given the opportunity to work directly with shareholders and clients. The candidate must possess a high level of academic achievement, law firm experience and superb writing, drafting and communication skills. The M&A attorneys practice with a focus on utilizing technologies that improve client service and efficiency. Experience with M&A supporting technologies like Kira and a strong interest in continuing to develop M&A practice capabilities is important.
Requirements
- 3+ years of business and transactional experience including mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations, joint venture and other complex transactions.
- Strong M&A skills, including drafting and negotiating definitive and ancillary documents.
- Proven ability to manage the deal process and client relationships.
- Ability to handle day-to-day demands and work flow requirements on various M&A matters.
- High level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school.
Benefits
Salary Range: The expected annual pay range for this position starts at $260,000/yr. The final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience, and the skillset of the candidate.
