At GardaWorld, we know your compensation is important so we provide competitive hourly starting rates for every market we’re in. We're growing our team here in Santa Clara, CA.

Compensation: $27 / hour
Shift:

• Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (one hour unpaid lunch break)

About the job:

• Welcome and assist employees, visitors, and guests with exceptional customer service.
• Efficiently coordinate and ensure a seamless customer experience during concurrent meetings and events.

• Various business administration duties including badge processing for personnel, processing I-9’s, etc.
• Manage visitors, events, and employee requests by anticipating needs and prioritizing effectively.
• Collaborate closely with receptionists, Global Places and Security team members, and department EA’s to provide outstanding support.
• Handle various incoming communications through in-person interactions, phone, email and Slack messages.
• Assist in assigned projects from supervisor and account manager.
• Enforce access policies and procedures in a friendly manner.
• Maintain confidentiality and represent the Global Places & Security organization professionally

Your background:

• You are able to obtain a California BSIS issued security license. 
• You have a high school education or equivalent (GED)
• You’re able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to present a professional image and effectively represent the organization
• 2 years of administrative or customer service experience.
• Strong networking skills and willingness to collaborate across different teams and projects.
• Familiarity with corporate, professional environments.
• Understand and meet the expectations of receptionists.
• Highly collaborative, taking ownership and building trust with stakeholders.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Google Suite.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to follow instructions, train others, and think creatively to solve problems.
• Desire for growth within the team and organization.
• Possess First Aid/CPR/ERT training for emergencies
