The Atlanta Community Food Bank is working to end hunger in our community with the food, people and big ideas needed so that no one worries where their next meal is coming from. Since 1979, we’ve been providing food for a growing network of nonprofit partners – including food pantries, community kitchens, childcare centers, night shelters and senior centers. We currently serve more than 700 partners in 29 counties across metro Atlanta and north Georgia.
About the Role:
The Corporate Relations Specialist II will provide administrative and project management support for industry-based fund drives. The responsibilities of this role include collaborating with the Food Bank’s Corporate Relations team and Feeding Georgia to reach annual monetary goals, cultivate and steward existing donors, and to acquire new donors. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Corporate Relations.

What You’ll Do:
Builds and Nurtures Relationships

Provide exceptional customer service to industry competition participants before, during and after each campaign by executing integrated communication plans, resolving donor concerns, and successfully supporting assigned competition leads.

Conduct research and prospecting activities to expand donor recruitment from existing industry verticals and identify new opportunities for engagement?

Cultivate and solicit corporate donors for financial and in-kind support

Support a robust stewardship and donor recognition program, ensuring fulfillment of public recognition benefits based on gift or sponsorship level.
Planning and Coordination

Collaborate with industry competition leads and Feeding Georgia contact(s) to create, maintain and monitor dedicated online fundraising campaigns.

Collaborate with industry competition leads and Marketing team to create, update and disseminate industry competition collateral and assets using multiple communication channels.

Help create and execute project management plans for industry competitions. Periodically review and update industry competition playbook to document standard operating procedures. Make process improvement recommendations.

Help develop, coordinate and grow cause marketing initiatives with new and existing corporate partners
Data and Administration

Work with Donor Services to ensure donations are properly coded and recorded in donor database.

Produce accurate and timely fundraising reports for industry competitions and other fundraising initiatives as needed.

Create invoices for sponsorships and other donations.

What You’ll Need: Skills and Experiences Your Resume Should Demonstrate:

Must have proven experience with project coordination, event planning, and coordination of multiple projects within deadlines and within budget.

Demonstrate experience successfully managing relationships with vendors, donors, and/ or sponsors.

Must demonstrate a track record of collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver objectives.

Must have solid working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

There may be some Physical Demands and Travel:
This position works in a typical office setting. There may be extended periods of sitting, standing and/or bending; listening, talking and/or visual concentration; writing and/or computer use. This position would normally have routine opportunities to alter physical position or change eye focus. Lifting should not normally exceed 50 pounds. Local travel is required. Must have a satisfactory driving record.
