Position Summary
Works with cross functional teams associated with Maintenance, Production Operations, and Engineering in order to organize and plan and execute continuous improvement and root cause analysis of equipment reliability, preventative maintenance data and activities. Provides the documentation structure and reporting data to leadership on reliability, OEE and PM performance. Analyzes usage and maintains critical spare parts inventory. Collects and evaluates data to reduce downtime and improve machine availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive and improve equipment reliability, performance and product quality.
- Become subject matter expert in PM planning / scheduling from Emaint CMMS modules.
- Develop facilities equipment PM documentation, reporting and regulatory documentation to support government and local requirements.
- Be proactive in support of required modifications to maintenance procedures for continuous improvement.
- Collect and report OEE, along with recommendations of improvement.
- Train users on existing role requirements in order to maintain day-to-day effective maintenance.
- Increase functionality and user support to improve efficiencies in the PM notification/order and work orders process for manpower, BOM material, equipment availability, technical documentation and associated analysis utilizing both internal and external resources.
- Responsible for facilitating weekly area downtime meetings as well as individual accountability.
- Utilizing Emaint and other software for the capture of all maintenance data, parts lifecycle and cost.
- Maintain integrity of all maintenance systems, including support for update of equipment PM tasks
- Develops vibration and other predictive maintenance methods.
- Maintain and audit service contracts for both facility and equipment.
- Coordinate condition monitoring and predictive maintenance scheduling and report documentation in Emaint CMMS.
- Perform entry work/analysis with-in CMMS, timelines and downtime reports.
- Schedule maintenance department training activities to improve downtime and personnel safety.

- Works in an office, lab, and manufacturing environment.
- Flexible hours may be required to accommodate meetings, training, etc.
- Prescribed personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory in all facility floor and manufacturing areas.

- Reports to: Technical Director (dotted line to Site Manager)
- Location: Ontario, California
- Travel: 10%

Selection Criteria:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or like degree required. Experience will not be accepted in lieu of a degree.
- Lean/Six Sigma certificates highly preferred but not required
- Master's degree highly preferred but not required
Experience:
- 4+ years of experience.
- Minimum 5 Years experience.
- Reliability or Maintenance Engineering experience required
- Willingness to work hands-on
- Familiar with Condition Based Monitoring Methodologies
