Position Summary:

Our direct client is seeking a Security Operations Center (SOC) Manager.

As the Security Operations Center Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the security operations of the organization's global infrastructure. You will lead the Security Operations Center (SOC) and a team that monitors and responds to security incidents, ensuring the protection of personnel, assets, and data. This role involves crisis management, incident response coordination, and the continuous development and optimization of security processes.


Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee global security operations, ensuring the safety and security of assets, infrastructure, and personnel.
• Lead the SOC team in identifying, assessing, and responding to security incidents.
• Develop and implement security protocols, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage crisis situations and coordinate incident response with global teams and stakeholders.
• Lead efforts to continuously improve SOC processes, integrating new technologies and methodologies.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the effectiveness of security measures.
• Provide regular reports and updates to executive leadership on security operations, risks, and incident responses.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing security operations team, fostering a culture of vigilance and operational excellence.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of experience in security operations, law enforcement, intelligence, military, or related fields.
• Proven leadership experience in managing a Security Operations Center or similar security function.
• Strong crisis management and incident response experience.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead global security efforts.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience managing global security teams and operations in diverse, international environments.
• Knowledge of advanced security technologies including CCTV, Access Control, and Incident Management Systems.
• Expertise in regulatory compliance and risk management in security operations.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize, plan, and execute complex initiatives.
• Certifications in security management, such as CISSP, CISM, or CPP.
