Overview
The Corporate Services Analyst is responsible for studying the company’s business operations and works to increase financial stability and productivity. Also, responsible for collecting and analyzing complex business data, reviewing trends and shifts in markets, developing models and reports based on the analysis, and providing financial support to management.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
The Role’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
+ Preparing presentations of analysis results to senior executives within the company or to clients or other stakeholders outside the company.
+ Participating in strategic planning and capital budgeting processes to determine how new products or services can be developed or current offerings can be improved in response to market trends.
+ Analyzing industry trends and identifying new opportunities for the company to pursue.
+ Conducting research on specific industries, companies, or topics using online databases or financial reports to develop a better understanding of the business environment.
+ Preparing and reviewing budgets and financial forecasts to assess the impact of new business initiatives on return on investment (ROI).
+ This role must be open to but not limited to manual data entry.
+ Tracking and analysis of utility costs relating to climate accounting and required sustainability reporting.
+ Additional duties as required.
Required Experience
+ Completion of degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
+ Three plus years of experience in related job role.
Skills & Abilities
+ Ability to interpret large amounts of data and find the most important information.
+ Strong analytical capabilities with experience performing financial analyses in Excel.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Team-oriented and proven ability to work with different stakeholders to solve problems.
+ A level of business and financial acumen to evaluate transaction, costs, and efficiencies.
+ Ability to collaborate and support across organizational boundaries.
+ Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
