Job Title: Corporate Communications Writer & Editor
Top Skills:
- Excellent writing skills, specifically short stories for the company intranet.
- Experience in conducting interviews with employees and Executives for internal news stories.
- Strong editing skills – to be used for internal news stories as well as digital signage.
- Strong experience with PowerPoint.
- Experience with Workfront a plus.
Responsibilities:
• Create engaging employee and business stories to share via internal communication channels including headlines, summaries, and short articles.
• Edit internal communications copy to ensure adherence to style guide and apply visual and journalistic techniques for effective and engaging storytelling, including photography, graphics, and takeaways.
• Assist in the day-to-day maintenance of the internal website and other digital channels.
• Track requests for content submission on multiple communication channels.
• Assist in content creation and support for Corporate Communications newsletter.
• Coordinate Internal Digital Signage requests and edit using PowerPoint.
Qualifications:
• Excellent written and oral communications skills with experience in effective, inspiring, inventive storytelling.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, take direction and work collaboratively.
• Detail oriented and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize and work under pressure.
• Proven self-starter with strong interpersonal and persuasive communications skills.
• Experience in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
