The Human Resources team supports our employee population by providing the structure, care, and development needed for individual employees to be successful in their own careers, which in turn contributes to the overall growth and success of the Company. The Human Resources department is organized in three strategic pillars:
- Compensation and Benefits: payroll, health and welfare benefits, retirement plan services, and immigration.
- Human Resources Business Partners: performance management, employee relations, recruiting and retaining talent, coaching and counseling.
- Talent Development: corporate social responsibility, diversity, learning, leadership development, internal communications and employee engagement.
The Talent Development, HR team seeks to champion Hermès culture and values by designing and implementing internal communication, learning and development, and CSR strategies focused on educating, motivating, and engaging our diverse Hermès of Paris (US) Family.
The Opportunity:
As the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Manager, you will be responsible for managing our CSR employee engagement programs and local non-profit partnerships. Your primary mission will be to give our employees the opportunity to positively impact their communities and to build strong relationships with non-profits that share our company values. In your role, you will be engaging our US employees in the mission of CSR through volunteerism, education and events.
Additional responsibilities included as assigned by the supervisor.
The Corporate Social Responsibility Manager is based in the New York corporate office, and reports to the Senior Director, Internal Communication and Corporate Social Responsibility on the Talent Development team in HR. This role will travel approximately 50% of the time engaging with internal stakeholders and non-profit partners across the country where we have locations.
About the Role:
- Create an engagement calendar that aligns with the CSR strategy and achieves the stated goals and objectives for the year.
- Liaise with internal partners and stakeholders working on CSR initiatives to ensure our programming is inclusive of their vision and the needs of the communities they operate in.
- Plan and execute regional and hyperlocal volunteer events around the country.
- Manage all relevant project administration, including maintaining the budget, on-site coordination and participation in the program, project logistics and post-event procedures.
- Track, report, and evaluate CSR programming for participation and effectiveness; make recommendations for new solutions and to improve existing offerings.
- Recap, story tell and promote CSR across the organization.
- Model "Gracious Leadership" and foster the Hermès of Paris culture.

About You:
- Exceptional project management skills, with an ability to work on multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong communication, organization and interpersonal skills
- A people-person that is passionate about community service and volunteerism

- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as an active team player
- Willingness to take on new opportunities and tough challenges with positivity, energy and enthusiasm
- Confident hosting a group and managing on-site logistics
- Technologically adept and proficient in Microsoft 365 programs
- Ability to travel 50% of time, dedicated to executing on-site events in partnership with non-profits and internal team members engaging a significant portion of our company locations
- 3-5 years prior Human Resources, Corporate Social Responsibility or Event Management experience, experience in luxury or service-oriented environment preferred
The range for this position is $71,803.00 - $119,671.00 annually. Actual rates are determined based on the job, location, and individual experience.
