GENERAL FUNCTION
EssilorLuxottica has created OneSight EssilorLuxottica Foundation to harmonize and strengthen its philanthropic and advocacy actions globally, with the goal of achieving better focus, alignment and maximization of social impact and realizing its ambition of eliminating poor vision in a generation.
The Sr. Manager, Direct Programs is responsible for the success and growth of direct programs operations in North America. Focused on employee engagement and standardization of regional and national program models, they will develop and leverage industry knowledge to build strategies, gain buy-in from leadership and key stakeholders, manage related business initiatives, and lead individual program teams and events in support of key performance measures. The Sr. Manager will build program plans, identify risks, define the Foundation’s competitive positioning, and negotiate/maintain relationships with identified prospects and partners, under the general direction of the Director, Head of Direct Programs.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible to plan, budget, execute, and report on direct programs activities, including all managerial duties of regional/ national program teams as applicable
- Establish team goals and develop strategies to achieve program KPIs; ensure goals/metrics align and exceed stakeholder commitments/expectations, and lead solutions to address/remedy any perceived shortcomings
- Directly manage team of Program Managers; travel to clinics, provide direct feedback on performance, mentor/guide through leadership and change management to support excellent growth and results
- Develop, maintain, and train on SOPs and identify efficiencies and improvements for program models
- Initiate roll-out plans and lead change management across program models for activities such as IT enhancements, improved procedures, etc.
- Collaborates effectively with cross-functional partners to ensure clinic objectives and funding partner expectations are met
- Lead planning and execution of program events and provides backfill support to ensure execution
- Maintain knowledge of the Foundation’s solutions and capabilities vs the strengths/weaknesses of competitive solutions
- Ensure screening/exam protocols and equipment are utilized in accordance with state/federal requirements and are consistent with the policies of the Foundation
- Other duties as assigned that will result in the Foundation achieving its KPIs
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years program development and management/leadership experience required
- 4-6 years of managing teams
- Must be willing and able to travel approx. 50% of the time
- Experience with data standards (FERPA, HIPAA)
- Experience creating and executing strategic business plans
- Proven ability to effectively negotiate and manage complex relationships
- Proven track record of understanding value and satisfying requirements
- Experience facilitating and leading working sessions with internal and external stakeholders and executives to successfully drive value adding results
- Demonstrates strong executive presence and influencer skills when interacting with stakeholders
- Proven ability to lead and maintain off-site teams
- Proven analytical, problem solving, presentation and negotiation skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Optical, healthcare, and/or retail industry experience strongly preferred
- 4-6 years of non-profit experience preferred
Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
