About the Job
JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Vice President to join our Stress Capital Analytics team within the Treasury & Chief Investment Office.
As a Vice President on the Stress Capital Analytics team within Capital Management, you will report to the Stress Capital Analytics Lead and collaborate with colleagues across Treasury, Corporate Finance, Risk Management, and business lines. You will have strong analytical and communication skills and experience in the financial services industry, preferably with a background in capital management and/or stress testing. This role offers visibility into strategic capital management activities and a unique opportunity to understand firm wide initiatives. The team supports business decisions at various levels, including the Capital Governance Committee, Asset and Liability Committee, Senior Management, and the Board of Directors. Success in this role requires a bias for action, the ability to work independently and within a team, handle ambiguity, quickly grasp new concepts, and proactively seek support and input as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
+ Help drive the firm's capital planning and stress testing processes (e.g., CCAR and other firm wide stress tests)
+ Conduct research and ad-hoc analysis to support regulatory capital efforts and firm wide capital stress tests
+ Perform detailed financial analysis for capital management initiatives
+ Prepare high-quality presentations for Senior Management, Board of Directors, Regulatory Agencies, and other stakeholders
+ Drive end-to-end work streams in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
+ 7+ years of experience in Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Risk Management, or Management Consulting
+ Relevant knowledge in regulatory capital, stress testing, or capital management
+ Strong data and financial analytics skills; coding experience (e.g., Python)
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to create executive-level presentations
+ Strong organizational and execution skills
+ Highly resourceful, self-motivated, and eager to learn
+ Bachelor's Degree required in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or Mathematics
