Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Cost Accountant specializing in inventory management. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in accounting or a related field and possess a minimum of one year of experience in cost accounting. Proficiency in advanced Excel is required, and experience with ERP is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing the needs of customers, vendors, suppliers, and team members in a courteous, prompt, and professional manner.
- Oversee and update daily warehouse inventory requisitions within the Stratton-Warren purchasing system, resolving any issues with warehouse management and team members.
- Support the food and beverage operations by managing inventory, cost transfers, and overall cost control for food and beverage items.
- Ensure accurate inventory records and implement best practices for spoilage management.
- Assist operational teams in developing standardized internal inventory and purchasing procedures.
- Use the inventory purchasing system to identify and address gaps in procurement and inventory processes across venues.
- Act as a liaison between Finance and Food & Beverage departments, providing compliance support.
- Collaborate with enterprise data teams on analytics projects to support cost management efforts, including pricing and product optimization strategies.
- Partner with department heads and the accounting team during periodic inventory cycles and the month-end closing process.
- Account for all month-end inventories, adjustments, and variances, ensuring proper recording.
- Update and maintain inventory counts and records, sharing information with management and other stakeholders.
- Implement loss prevention programs to minimize inventory shrinkage.
- Compile and submit Stratton-Warren-related reports to authorized management or accounting as required.
- Meet all departmental or company project and assignment requirements and deadlines.
- Protect and preserve company assets.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field required.
- Minimum of one year of experience in cost accounting.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Experience with ERP is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
