Cost Accounting Consultant - KBW Financial

KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting has partnered with a company within the manufacturing industry in Exeter, NH that is searching for a Senior Cost Accountant to join a growing team.  Our client is very motivated to hire and is seeking a candidate that can start immediately.  This is an immediate need and requires an experienced resource that can dig into existing processes, see what works, see what needs to be fixed and put new cost processes in place.  

The responsibilities for the Cost Accountant will include but will not be limited to:

• Identify areas of weakness and improve all cost processes.
• Perform cost accounting and analysis on activities associated with headcount, labor and production.
• Review billing of materials
• Monitor and analyze all costs associated with overhead as well as fixed costs.
• Examine existing policies and procedures, cost of operations and inventory and look for ways to reduce costs and increase efficiencies.
• Provide reporting to operation managers and senior management
• Participate ion the month end close process and special projects

 The ideal candidate for the Cost Accountant should have experience that meets the following requirements:

• Bach in Accounting or Finance
• Excellent Excel and systems skills
• 10 plus years of experience in cost accounting
