Savvee Consulting is seeking to hire a Cost Estimator to support our federal client. Candidates will be required to work onsite in Ashburn, VA. This role requires candidates to have cost estimation experience and an ability to work independently.
This postiion is contingent upon contract award.
Essential Functions
- Providing inputs to independent cost estimates for life cycle costs or other activities
- Preparing Estimates At Completion (EAC) for work conducted by a government activity
- Providing recommendations on cost realism
- Performing contract earned value management system (EVMS) analyses
- Providing Return on Investment figures
- Performing operational analysis on maintenance projects
- Providing an IGCE narrative detailing how each IGCE was developed with specific assumptions, calculations, and supporting analyses in sufficient detail for procurement package
- Analyzing, evaluating and providing recommendations for Total Estimated Planned Value (TEPV) and Life Cycle Cost Estimate (LCCE).
- Supporting the cost estimate reconciliation process, estimators will examine for completeness, analyze similarities and differences, and resolve problems of duplication or omission.
- Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to the client
