Pay: $45-$50 for 4 units

Schedule: Part-time/Full-time

Role Overview:

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled COTA to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to our pediatric clients. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to support the development and implementation of therapeutic interventions that enhance the physical, cognitive, and social abilities of children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's needs.
• Aid in assessing patients' abilities and limitations through standardized and non-standardized tests.
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs, the use of adaptive equipment, and strategies for daily living activities.
• Stay informed about best practices in occupational therapy, state and federal regulations, and professional standards of care.
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of treatment sessions, patient progress, and any changes in condition.
• Prepare and update reports for patient evaluations, discharge planning, and team meetings.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in Texas
• Experience in home health or a related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in electronic medical record documentation
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Flexibility and adaptability to work with diverse client needs
