Position: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - COTA
Location: NovaCare Odenton Maryland
Schedule: As needed hours Monday - Saturday
Compensation: Starting at $28.00/ Hour commensurate with experience.
NovaCare Odenton Maryland is seeking per diem (PRN) Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide quality patient care. We take pride in creating an exceptional patient experience, helping all of our patients get back to athletics, work, life, and the things they love. We have a large clinical OP ortho team treating ortho, neuro, industrial, and pediatrics.
An ideal COTA has previous outpatient experience. With our team, we are open to new graduates and can offer mentorship.
Compensation: starting at $28/hr.
We are able to offer access to our local and in-person CEU accrediting courses for all our clinicians, regardless of PRN or part time schedules.

Responsibilities:- Detail-Oriented: Observe, note and report on the progress of long and short-term treatment goals and ensure proper documentation of patient care.
- Education: Teach patients new ways of approaching tasks and how to break down activities into achievable components.
- High Standard of Care: Maintain professional standards through compliance with quality assurance policies/procedures and applicable regulations and corporate policies
- Personalized Treatment: Under the direction of a licensed occupational therapist, optimize patients’ functional abilities and skills.
- Graduate of an ACOTA accredited occupational therapy assistant (OTA) program
- State COTA license (or license eligible)
- CPR certification
- Valid state driver’s license
