A skilled Nursing Facility has an immediate need for a COTA
Type: HC-Contract/ Temp
Location: Medford, NY
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Implements patient's individualized treatment plan as established by the primary Occupational Therapist
Works with other members of the rehabilitation team to develop programs consistent with the needs and capabilities of each patient
Instructs patients, families and other caregivers in the skills and techniques of the occupational therapy treatment program under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist
Requirements:
Current NY State Therapy License
Minimum of 1 year experience working in a short-term and/or Long-term rehab
Must have 1 year experience in SNF
Solid knowledge of healthcare industry and related guidelines
Excellent communication skills in both oral and written forms-Display a sense of curiosity, enthusiasm and eagerness to understand business constraints, environment and impact on regulation for the healthcare industry.
Excellent organization, analytical and time management skills
Experience in strong problem solving/troubleshooting skills
