Counselor II - AnMed Health Psychiatry - AnMed Health

Counselor II performs initial clinical assessment, determines the appropriate level of service for patients or referral to other appropriate providers/agencies as appropriate and ensures patients receive an appropriate level of care. Works closely with Psychiatrists and Nurse Practitioners to provide counseling for adult patients.



Qualifications: Requires a Master's degree or higher in a mental health related field; state licensure to include Licensed Independent Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Psychologist, or licensed RN with psychiatric experience. A minimum of two (2) years experience in a mental health setting with strong mental health assessment skills and crisis management skills preferred.
