Position Summary | UNMs ADOBE Program was established in 2017 to identify and construct resilience among individuals and communities confronting justice and health disparities at the crossroads of medicine and law. We provide comprehensive services to at-risk adolescents and their families, including community navigation, education support, medical care, psychiatric care, and therapy, in a setting that supports harm reduction and gender-affirming care. We are seeking a therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. This position provides a range of psychological assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic services for individuals, groups, and/or families. Works under the direct guidance of a clinical professional within the environment of a clinical agency and medical facility. Duties and Responsibilities 1.Provides counseling, therapy, and/or psychotherapy to clients, families, and groups; prepares treatment plans, discharge plans, and follow-up care programs; provides therapeutic crisis and emergency intervention. 2.Consults with other legal and treatment agencies and individuals, as needed. 3.Consults with other therapists and related professional and paraprofessional staff, as appropriate. 4.Participates in multidisciplinary team meetings. 5.May lead paraprofessionals in performance of clinical duties. |

Minimum Qualifications | Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or directly related field; at least 6 months of directly related experience which may include internship and/or practicum.Certification/LicensureNM licensure as LPCC, LPC, LMHC, LMSW, LCSW, or equivalent level, OR licensed out of state and eligible for NM licensure. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
