Compassionate Counselor Supervisor Needed
Position Overview:
The Counselor Supervisor will supervise the Counselors and Counselor Interns who provide treatment and casework services to patients in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and with BayMarks policies and procedures. The counselor supervisor will ensure timely documentation of patient services based on plan of care. Must identify other physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs for assigned patients. The supervisor will manage related expenditures in a fiscally responsible manner in accordance with the companys budget. Essential Job Functions:
Responsibilities
- Direct and supervise all intake operations
- Review intake assessments for quality
- Direct pre-admission decisions, case reviews and counseling meetings to ensure services are provided in accordance with policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
- Maintain a small caseload
- Provide direct supervision to clinicians as well as assist in the ongoing supervision of staff through meetings, in-service trainings, guest speakers and reviewing literature
Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Behavioral Science
- LPC, LADC OR LCSW
- Must have prior supervisory experience, be self-motivated and directed
- The Counseling Supervisor will have a positive attitude toward our chemically dependent patients and previous experience working with this population
- Satisfactory criminal background check and drug screen
