You Will:
As a vital member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting, developing, and contributing to the comprehensive review of SBIR/STTR proposals and associated vendors in coordination with NCIS, NIA OCEA-N, and ONI. Your responsibilities include conducting thorough research and analysis of companies to identify patterns, concerns, or threats that aid in efforts to recognize foreign intelligence entities and adversarial threats to DON and DOD programs. With an expected workload of 2,000 reviews and written inputs annually, you will also produce analytic products summarizing trends and threats from foreign entities to supported SBIR/STTR elements. Working within policy and law, you will collaborate with NIA OCEA-N and ONI to establish a process for continually monitoring previously assessed companies for new or developing foreign ownership, control, or influence concerns. Your expertise will be integral in providing analytical support to agents, other analytical divisions, and NCIS leadership for investigative and national security efforts. Additionally, you will identify trends and actions related to intellectual property theft and technology transfer, offering informational briefings to facilitate the DON's efforts to prevent such theft/loss. You will also conduct counterintelligence assessments on potential SBIR/STTR vendors, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and effective assessments. Your role extends to maintaining up-to-date records, publishing analytical products, and staying informed on relevant laws and industry best practices. Your valuable insights and recommendations will be reported to the NCIS Technical Lead, contributing to the success of the DoN SBIR/STTR Due Diligence Team.
You Have:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus (5) Five years of professional experience, including with conducting all-source CI analysis to assess the threats posed by companies with identified risks
Presentation, oratory, and written skills are essential as findings will be regularly presented, both orally and in writing.
TS/SCI Clearance
Demonstrated ability to work from high-level, limited and evolving guidance to produce timely and effective results is highly desirable
Ability to work both independently and with personnel from multiple organizations.
Experience with SBIR/STTR
