The National Security Sector (NSS) is hiring multiple Senior Counterterrorism / Insurgency Analysts to support an Intel Agency's Defense Combating Terrorism Office with intelligence production and watchlist support. This exciting opportunity is in anticipation of an upcoming contract award!
What you’ll be doing:
- Systematically and deliberately review Department of Defense (DoD) datasets assessed as likely to contain identifying information for known or suspected threats.
- Identify, prioritize, and record information from known DoD datasets related to known or suspected threats as specified by the Government.
- Crosscheck/research known or suspected negative individuals against other intelligence holdings to ensure completeness of information and to avoid duplicating data entries.
- Compile information into a nomination report format as specified by the Government. Correctly format, classify, and address reports. Ensure information contained within reports is intelligible, cogent, comprehensive, and understandable, and that all reports use proper grammar and spelling.
- Provide guidance and instruction for less experienced team members assigned as appropriate.
- Demonstrate general knowledge and understanding of Intelligence Community (IC) organizations associated with CT operations, analysis, products and information systems.
- Possess general information systems experience working with select DoD datasets and intelligence reporting activities; demonstrate comprehensive mission knowledge to provide guidance related to policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate general knowledge and understanding of threat organizations, to include group names and geographic location, leadership, activities and ideology.
- Meet production schedules.
- Perform all-source intelligence analysis and prepare reports for dissemination by methods specified by the Government.
- Provide final review of submitted resources to ensure accuracy, validity, comprehensibility, completeness, and use of proper grammar, punctuation, spelling, and classification, in compliance with government standards.
What does Leidos need from me?
- Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) with Polygraph security clearance required.
- Requires a Bachelor's degree and 17 to 20 years of DoD counterterrorism or intelligence analysis experience or Master's degree with 12 to 15 years of DoD counterterrorism or intelligence analysis experience.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $108,550.00 - $196,225.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
