Essential Functions

Measure cabinets/spaces in the field in order to gather information relative to the design.
Take digitized templates and communicate with the CAD technicians to assist in creating shop drawings which will be used to fabricate countertops.
Visit job sites of both Retail and Builder customers.
Provide sales staff with specific job details in order for them to prepare a professional quote for our customers.
Provides accurate information to enable CAD team to resolve problems through the renderings produced.
Communicate regularly with template scheduler, CAD technicians and designers to meet customer and projects needs.
Provides information to install managers to determine if support is required or additional structural work is needed.
Interact occasionally with builders and home owners on job sites in order to answer questions, and communicate needed adjustments.
Work Environment
This job operates in newly constructed and lived-in, retail and builder homes. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites, which can include high noise levels, fumes from paint or stain, and unfinished walking areas.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. This position requires the ability to drive as required for the position and the ability to pass DOT medical/physical exam as required for position. The employee must frequently lift and move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Required Education and Experience
Ability to read a tape measure to measure to the 16th of an inch with accuracy and precision.
Ability to read blueprints, sales orders/quotes, change orders, and template notes.
Strong math skills.
Strong computer skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Valid drivers license and clean driving record required.
Preferred Experience
Countertop knowledge.
Knowledge of or experience working in construction or interior design field.
AutoCAD 2000 or higher experience.
