SUMMARY
The County Market Janitorial Clerk is responsible for cleaning and perform light day-to-day repair of general maintenance items.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Delivers superior guest service and ensure absolute customer satisfaction
- General Cleaning: Empties wastebaskets, cleans restrooms in detail, and replenishes supplies
- Vacuums hallways/offices, sweeps and mops all hard surfaces
- Dusts furniture, blinds, etc.
- Light maintenance work
- Shovels snow, replaces Light bulbs
- Minor repair work, paints, builds shelves
- Operates pallet jack and forklift
- Calls for outside assistance with a repair problem, if needed
- During peak hours, stocks groceries, helps customers, pushes carts
- Follows all store and department policies and procedures
- Follows safety policies and procedures; is a safety role model
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
