Courthouse Administrator (Management Analyst I) - Fairfax County

About the Job
Performs professional analytical and technical work to assist with analysis, data management, research and policy development for Logistics operations for the Circuit Court. This position is designed to demonstrate broad and technical knowledge to perform the essential duties to support the Clerk of Court and Chief Judge. Works under direct supervision of the Clerk of Court and Chief Judge.
Acts as the liaison between the executive/division head’s functional area, other county offices, and external agencies. Provides general knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, executive orders, agency rules and the democratic political processes, and knowledge of the principles and practices of supervision. Participates and provides input into business process and redesign any information technology initiatives. Prepares narrative and statistical reporting for Circuit Court for changes or enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness for building operations. Acts as an administrator and court liaison for the Circuit Court facilities and courthouse complex. Communicates with other agencies, collects information and reports to the Chief Judge on issues pertaining to security for the entire judicial complex, including the judicial annex and historic courthouse.
Maintains COOP agreement, emergency preparedness and evacuation protocol, and works with Chief Judge on OEM weather related calls and closures. Independently sets up investiture ceremonies for incoming judges. Handles chamber moves and furniture for judges, coordinates bench participation in special events. This position is required to maintain detailed knowledge of agency business processes. Required to work well under pressure and acts with appropriate discretion and professionalism with multiple agencies.
