Job Description:
- Responsible for scheduling and tracking all craft training & assisting with professional development when necessary.
- Maintain NCCER Accreditation by ensuring the company follows all proper processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with field and craft recruiters to assist with onboarding craft employees.
- Schedule all required training for craft employees with the Houston Area Safety Council
- Partner with the Department of Labor to ensure is meeting the requirements of apprenticeship programs.
- Responsible for updating the Department of Labor RAPID website for apprenticeship programs.
- Administer and proctor all apprenticeship classification computer exams.
- Administer, monitor, and report all required safety training for partnered projects.
- Administer and monitor all Heavy Equipment specific training as needed.
- Assist with organizing the Craft Leadership Boot Camps
- Identify methods of improvement regarding the Training Departments scheduling and tracking processes.
- Responsible for taking professional notes and minutes in all appropriate committee meetings.
- Monitor and ensure all craft employees are in compliance with required safety training (ex: Basic Plus, Specific, etc.)
- All other duties as assigned.
- Minimum 2 years of training experience in a related industry required.
- Familiarity with industrial craft positions and certifications.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
- High School Diploma or GED required.
